Recorded live on the Field of Dreams, Don Giovanni Records announced today the release of Paisley Fields' new mini-EP "The Field Sessions". The EP features a cover of Arthur Russell's "Close My Eyes" who, like Paisley, was born and raised in Iowa before making the move to New York City. Live videos accompany each song on "The Field Sessions", which also includes live recordings of "Iowa" and "Catch Me". Both songs delve into themes of gender identity, sexuality, longing to fit in, and navigating those feelings while growing up in rural America at the turn of the millenium.
